Steel USA Western Division has created a training website to promote
a more uniformed and standard approach to providing comprehensive
information on training for all affected employees.
The
site will provide information for both salaried and hourly employees
with detailed course descriptions, locations and certifications in
their given fields of expertise and in cross training possibilities.
Everyone is encouraged to view and take part in all the courses
available. This
site was created to combine synergies throughout Mittal Steel and to
ensure that quality training issues were being addressed throughout
the corporation. The training website will be updated on a
weekly basis with new and exciting courses being offered at every
site within the western division. By combining resources with
vendors, grants and federal funds will enable us to train more
people in more classes and maintain our ultimate goal of having the
most qualified employees working at Mittal Steel. If
you have any questions or comments after viewing the site, please
contact your local plant training coordinator. If you know of
any employees that do not have access to a computer, please allow
