LOANS – As you know, for those of you who have loans, there
has not been any payments coming out of your ISG checks yet.
This is a system problem between Fidelity and Mass Mutual.
We have been told that the loan payments will start again on the
November 6th payday. PAYROLL DEPOSITS – There has also been a problem with getting
our 401k payroll deductions deposited in our 401k accounts in a timely
fashion. This is also a payroll
problem. We have been told that
this will continue to be a problem for the next couple of paydays.
Once they get this fixed, you should see the money in your account on
the next business day after payday. INTERNET ACCESS – The following is information to help you
access your account on the internet: For those of you who use the internet, I’ll try to go over the steps you need to do to move your money, change percents, etc. First, the website is www.massmutual.com
When the page opens, click on, The Journey, the login screen will appear, type in your social security number and pin number. Their home page will now appear. It will show your balance and highlight your portfolio. Now click on: Current Account Balances, your account summary will now appear. You can do several things from this page. For contributions, click on: Contributions. Disregard the Annual Salary box and Contribution Box. To change contribution, just put the new percent in “new” box (up to 35%), then confirm and you have now changed the percent that will be taken out of your check. Click on, Balances Transfer, to transfer
from fund to fund and percent from fund to fund.
Click to fund you want transferred from and the percent. This section is for current balances daily. Then click on:
Transfer To, and percent you want in the new funds.
Percent must add up to 100 percent.
You can only deal with percentages. Investments Sections – This is for the
new money you put in every two weeks through payroll deduction.
Click on investment sections, put percent in boxes, must add up to
100 percent. Click, Next –
goes to confirm page, confirm. This completes your change in Investment Selections. Next, click on:
Statement of Account – you must put in a beginning date and ending
date, or a custom time period. Page
down, this shows summary of contributions, dates of deposits and amounts.
Valuation Date is date it was posted to your account. I hope this will help you to surf through
the new 401k website. There are
other things you can do also as you learn the website.
I just wanted to get the basics down first.
Jeff Utnik helped me navigate through the new site – thanks Jeff. For those of you who are not familiar with
the internet, you can also do all of these procedures by phone at
1-800-743-5274. We are also working on getting Mass
Mutual’s site on the ISG intranet. This should bring you up to date – as I
get more information concerning 401k I will keep you informed. Al Long, Financial Secretary Local 6787 ~ USWA 6787 |
